One of the things I love most about the world of online photography is that I get to visit distant places and see intimate rural portraits through a unique perspective. Today’s Photostream is from a young girl named Ann in Russia. She is very humble in her picture taking abilities but I have only praise for her exquisite warm portraits.
Ann has mostly shot herself and other females, and she brings a magical exclusivity to each photograph. Her frames feel strikingly familiar but with a hint of “wow”. I get a warm fuzzy feeling in the pit of my stomach when I look at Ann’s pictures. It’s this kind of emotional connection that makes a good photo possible. This is something that Ann has achieved at the age of 19 whereas many photographers may struggle for a lifetime to find. Check out Ann’s photostream on Flickr and look out for her new work.
